East Perth at Night
by Graham Leggate on Jun.18, 2010, under Photography
On Tuesday night Kheng and I decided to head out and do some photo’s. We didn’t really have anything in mind, we just wanted to get out and shoot some landscape type shots. Well, I guess these are more urban and cityscape, rather than landscape.

Hello Graham,
My preference of these two pictures, without any hesitation,is the top picture.
You have again captured the ambiance of this picture with a Wet Autumn Evening; the Wet Autumnal Leaves on the paving; add to this the Street Light reflection, as with that in the Stream, and the Soft Tree Hue; to my mind, this photograph as a strong condender for a competition entry.
I will most certainly save this to “My Pictures”.
Full marks.
Regards,
Brian.

Love the top one Graham. Good to see what other people in Perth are doing. I’m relatively new to photography – just bought myself a Nikon D90 a few months ago and my passion has grown from there! How long hav you been shooting?

Hi Joanna. Thanks for stopping by. I really think the D90 is a great little work horse for the money. Basically a D300 in a cheaper body
I have been shooting on and off for around 20 years. However, Ion;y found the passion again a few years ago, thanks to a mate. When I upgraded my D100 to a D90, I really fell back in love with photography. I’ll head over to you blog and take a look later tonight.
